2012 Weekly Report wk 04 Saturday 21 January
Ponds still full to the brim, hopefully they will continue to merge and create a wonderful environment for the wildlife. Two ducks were also spotted on the ponds.
Last week we mentioned the memorial bench but no photo was uploaded (here is a photo)
New year, and still the duck house refuses to stay in the middle of the pond, James attempts to push it out, the duck house stubbornly, still wouldn't move.
Fungi is growing in different areas.
James filled up the bird feeders.
While the adults had a cup of coffee, and a "break" from all the "hard work".
Mike took a bucket and begun a new activity, collecting rocks and stones to eventually place around the ponds.
James helped.
Mike perilously gathering rocks and stones.
James' path of water is to thank for the effective filling of the ponds.
Animals seem to be moving into the homes we built for them, and creating new ones in the hillsides.
Is Winter already over? Bulbs and plants seem to be sprouting everywhere.
A new edition to the team, beautiful rescue dog "Bonnie" joined us for the day.
